PREACHING FROm OUR PULPITS
Afterward he journeyed from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. – Luke 8:1
Do you bring Jesus with you wherever you go? In whatever context you are in — whether at home, school or work — does your life preach and proclaim the Good News? Many times we forget that our lives are living, breathing and tangible representations of the Gospel.
Once, one of my graduate school friends had to absent herself from class because her son was sick. Our professor had given us a paper which was due the next meeting. I tried to help my classmate by sending her text and e-mail updates of what went on in class, and by faxing her a copy of the task sheet our teacher had distributed. Afterwards, she sent me a text saying, “Thank you. You are a breath of fresh air to people like me.”
I didn’t think I did anything spectacular to deserve such a nice compliment. All I did was extend a helping hand, and offer small acts of kindness.
We often don’t realize it, but we can bring Jesus to other people even in the little things we do. Our daily lives are our pulpit. Let us preach well.Cess Cosico
REFLECTION:
Are you a blessing or a burden to other people? Let us all pray for the grace to become blessings to other people.
Lord, let me preach with my life.

Just Ask
Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you considers himself wise in this age, let him become a fool so as to become wise. – 1 Corinthians 3:18
He who asks is a fool for five minutes. He who does not remains a fool forever. A lot of people think they are wise yet they do not ask.
One of my faults (as with most men, I think) is that I tend to rely on my instinct and knowledge when it comes to directions. Once, we drove to an unfamiliar place looking for a friend’s house. We were lost yet I didn’t ask for help. It was only when we hit a dead-end that I asked. If I had done that earlier, we could have found the house 40 minutes earlier.
Some people think it’s beyond them to ask, especially when it comes to faith. Many Catholics convert to other religions because “Catholics worship Mary when the Bible says we should worship only God.” If only they had the courage and humility to ask, they would have known the real answer: Catholics worship only one God. We venerate Mary and place her in high esteem because of her special role in God’s plan of salvation. If you have questions about our faith, ask a priest, community elder, a church/canon expert or look it up in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
That way, you need not wander for long. Jun Asis
REFLECTION:
What questions do I have about my faith? Have I asked somebody dependable, trustworthy and knowledgeable?
Give me, Lord, the humility to admit that I do not hold all the answers to life’s questions and the courage to ask for help.

Weed User's Life
Hello my dear frnds and Mj users....
I am the weed user. A native Ganjamen who lives in the bottom of the Marijuana Village in Eastern part of the Earth Region. I wrote in this blog just to inform all people around the world, what are the benefits that we can get when we are using Weed or they called " five finger's" or "dahon" in dabawenyo's dialect. Whether it is good or bad, I would like to explain to all, that not all weeds or five fingers are dangerous to all the user's. A lot of people who suffer different types of human illnesses are healed by the use of this weeds. They use this as their soul to cure sophisticated diseases like for example the tuberculosis and cancer who are have a big percentage in human mortality rate in the world today. .
